CWind Taiwan is one of the leading players at construction and maintenance phase of wind farm and brings a wealth of knowledge to the offshore wind industry in Taiwan.
CWind Taiwan, a joint venture between CWind UK and IOVTEC, established in 2018. From CWind UK, CWind Taiwan has inherited experience working at over 50 European offshore wind farms and operates to the highest European standards of Health and Safety. As the main contractor of construction and maintenance, CWind Taiwan delivers a full turnkey solution, with a range of integrated services and packages across the lifecycle of an offshore wind farm and access to expert technicians and high performing vessels.
Taiwan International Windpower Training Corporation Ltd introduces common international standards for safety training from Global Wind Organization (GWO) to provide related offshore wind power training courses.
TIWTC is a joint venture, which is formed by Taiwan International Ports Corp., China Steel Company, China Shipbuilding Company, Taipower Company, Cwind Taiwan and Swancor Renewable. As the first GWO training provider in Taiwan, TIWTC provides Basic Technical Training (BTT), Basic Safety Training (BST). To cultivate local wind power talents and localize wind power technology. Open the door to the offshore wind power market in Taiwan.
Fugro IOVTEC is one of the pioneering companies providing technical studies, surveys and investigations to establish the marine site characteristics for offshore wind farms in Taiwan. We bring a wealth of experience, innovation and technology to the industry to support site development, installation and construction for Land and Marine operations.
In 2016, Fugro conducted its first metocean study, geophysical and geotechnical survey in Taiwan for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study by an international client. Fugro continued working alongside IOVTEC under an MOU since 2017 for numerous offshore wind energy clients. To support Taiwan’s green energy revolution and strengthen our local presence, Fugro IOVTEC Co., Ltd. was established in 2020.
Fugro IOVTEC brings experience from numerous global offshore wind projects, as well as significant local experience to enhance understanding of the marine geological and geotechnical risks. We facilitate the decision-making process, from initial concepts to detailed design, and our purpose-built equipment and innovative technology improves safety and cost efficiency.
